Inspiron Mini M101z – Lighter Laptop For Your Daily Use

| Reviews | October 27, 2010

Inspiron Mini M101z is one of the best budget thin and light laptop from Dell. This miniature notebook performs the most demanding tasks with ease. It’s ultra thin, only measures 11.6 inches and weighs less than four pounds. Intel’s Atom CPUs have migrated to 11-inch and even larger systems, while the other 10 – and 11-inch models have added alternative CPU, graphics hardware and high-resolution displays. It also contains fine speakers and feature HDMI included.Keyboard is very good and a pleasure to write. The half-size keys are a bit smaller, and will take some getting used.

Well again it might not be the perfect machine, because there are always some dissenters with better features in each machine. But this laptop does offer good value for money.

Dell Inspiron M101z uses an AMD processor and an ATI graphics.Colors: Clear Black, Tomato Red, Blue Peacock Pink.To Promise and you can connect to external devices, there are three USB ports, headphone and microphone jacks, and an SD card slot and an Ethernet jack. You can easily do multi-tasking as surfing the Internet with multiple browser tabs open while listening to music and chatting in an instant messenger window.

Cons

Low Battery life
Limited graphics
Glossy LCD bezel/lid cover (Catches FingerPrint)

review

Dell laptops are popular because they can be easily customized according to the need of the consumer. If you don’t like any of the specifications of your favorite laptop then you can configure yourself online.

Dell 1525 can’t go for 3D graphics and have no dedicated video card option which means users who want to play 3 D games might not be satisfied with it.

But look what it has in it ?

First thing which most of the people consider it the price.Ya it is a cheap gadget and is quite popular because of its price.Plus points of this device are its sleek design, strong dual-core performance, long battery life. You get the fine 15.4-inch widescreen framed by a silver bezel. The 1440 x 900-pixel glossy panel delivered vibrant colors and a sharp picture with very little reflection

Battery life : Stands around 4 hrs.Standard 56-Wh battery (six-cell) were impressive 3 hours 45 minutes on MobileMark 2007 tests. You can also add more to it by adding a 85-Wh (nine-cell) battery to it.But it will cost you.It has got WWAN available. Awesome typing experience. Affordable.Lots of entertainment features including an instant-on button, a Webcam, and even dual headphone jacks.

All in all
It is a good buy but not for those who are looking to get it for 3D gaming purpose, gamers will be disappointed by the lack of graphics options.

Refurbished laptops :

Dell Inspiron 1525 is also available at dell’s official site.Ranging from $400 to above.

Refurbished dell laptops from the dell outlet are they safe to buy?

| Refurbished Laptop Deals | July 14, 2010

refurbished laptops
Matthew P asked:

Are certified refurbished dell laptops from the dell outlet site okay or safe to buy?,as I’ve noticed that the Dell outlet, you can get a pretty D820 either refurbished or scratches and dents. Would you recommend buying one of these? Some of the prices in the tray is actually much higher than the price of a new computer, so there is a discount when using socket? The reason im going with the width seems better built than the Inspiron. Also do you get the box and computer info and all of that?,

Dell Adamo XPS upcoming thinnest laptop 0.40-inch thickness

| Featured | October 14, 2009

All we know is that the machine is thinner than 0.76 inch and 0.65-inch MacBook Adamo. XPS is a 13-inch display, and the original Adam, and will probably remain the same ridiculous price trend Adamo (Adamo will return the original $ 1999 to $ 2699).

Please note that Dell XPS describes as a concept machine that is not ready for production. It is difficult to know where (or so), XPS will see the light of day, but my money is on the supermodel-thin beauties who will be available in the coming months.

9.99 mm is approximately 0.39 inches. The original Adam, a 65 inch thin MacBook Air is 0.76 cm at its widest point, Adamo XPS concept that almost half thin.

Where To buy From a good refurbished laptop?

| Refurbished Laptop Deals | September 30, 2009

refurbished laptops
What website would go about finding a nice cheap price refurbished laptop. I would think it was well known brands such as HP, Dell and Asus.

I have a number of sales of portable computers, but like most PC vendors, assuming that most people dont know what they sell at a price and they are too high (even for new, refurb only).

Would have an interest in high-performance notebook (about 4 GB of RAM and dual-core processor)
