Hewlett-Packard company sued former Chief Executive Mark Hurd
Hp one of the world’s largest computer and printer maker sued its former Chief Executive Mark Hurd to prevent transfer of its trade secrets to a competitor. Firms says that his hiring by the rival technology firm puts HP’s trade secrets “in peril.”
On monday Oracle named Hurd co-president and director,just after month he resigned from HP over expense account irregularities related to a female contractor. HP also asked the court to appoint a “special master” to regularly review Mr Hurd’s compliance with his confidentiality agreement.According to HP spokeswoman “Mark Hurd agreed to and signed agreements designed to protect HP’s trade secrets and confidential information. HP intends to enforce those agreements.”
Hp had determined that Mr.Hurd had violated its code of business conduct, including inaccurate expense reports that appeared to conceal a personal relationship with Ms Fisher.
