Samsung and Htc Refutes Apple Claims
Samsung said that it has not received any noticeable complaints on smartphone signal reception,this statement came after Apple said that the issue was shared by the entire smartphone industry.
Samsung stated – “We have not received significant customer feedback on any signal reduction issue for the Omnia II,”
Since June 24 launch of the iPhone 4, some users have reported drastically reduced signal strength when they held the touch-screen phone a certain way, leading to dropped calls.According to HTC Chief Financial Officer Hui-Meng Cheng said Monday – “Apple should face its own problems,” ”The reception problems are certainly not common among smartphones…they (Apple) apparently didn’t give operators enough time to test the phone.”
Cheng added that Apple blaming other competitors for its own problems “is not acceptable.”
While samsung cleared that “Samsung mobile phones employ an internal antenna design technology that optimizes reception quality for any type of hand-grip use,”
