Next Window, market leader in optical touch screen technology for desktop computers, monitors and large format displays, today announced that one quarter of a leading computer manufacturer started selling Next Window desktop PCs via the touchscreen. Sony this week unveiled its new touch-enabled, multi-media machine L-VAIO Touch HD PC / TV, which includes 24-inch widescreen display. According to Sony: “With little more VAIO L Series” screen, easy access to a computer, HDTV, DVR-wide entertainment center is readily at hand. ”
Sony is the latest computer maker to choose Window Next, the touch screen is certified by Microsoft for working with Windows 7 Next Window is capitalizing on the global touch PC “trend by forging relationships with the largest computer manufacturers. Several PC manufacturers are already shipping a PC with a touch-screen touch Next Window, including Dell, Hewlett-Packard (HP), Medion, Sony and now and some other PC makers are expected to market products using Next Window touchscreen later this year. Next Window also contributes to the growth of the PC market becoming a creation of an independent software vendor partner program to accelerate the development of new touch-enabled software applications.
