i don’t think they’re being made anymore so the only ones left are refurbished. 2 points tho. i’ve never met anyone satisfied w/ acer.
2. refurbished isn’t a bad idea if it’s a good product. reason being, only 5% of electronics get tested during manufacture but when someone returns one for any reason, it gets repaired if nec and fully tested. so you know (in theory) that what ever could go wrong already has or wont because it’s been tested fully…
i buy both hp and samsung refurbished w/ no second thoughts.
I’m going to start off by saying that refurbished laptops aren’t necesarily bad. refurbished just means used and then fixed up a bit. In my experiance buying refurbished products, the refurbished one is better then a new one because some of the bugs that the new one may have had, when being refurbished, are fixed. but if you desperately want a new one, bestbuy.com is a safe bet, or possibly tigerdirect.com. Amazon.com may have some as well.

There is a reason for that, do yourself a favor and get something else.
