Normal laptops V/s satellite laptop ?
- Do satellites mean that they are directly linked to a satellite or the company has a satellite?
These are not equipped with satellite communication capabilities.
- Do satellite laptop require a modem to access the internet?
Yes
- Are satellite laptops better or equal to regular laptops?
No they are same like simple ones but there might be some changes in configurations etc.
Well all these questions come in our mind when we hear about it but i tell you there is no difference between any of them.Basically the term satellite is used to create a brand name by toshiba company just to differentiate it from other products.
It’s just a Toshiba brand name, like the difference between a car and a Ford Focus.
