Grid Problem dell latitude d600?

Do you mean that when you type a specific letter, say “Y” it doesn’t show up? Does nothing come up when you type that letter or does another symbol come up?

If nothing comes up it could be that particular key is broken. Try installing usb keyboard..then check with the laptop maker about getting the keyboard fixed or replaced.

If another symbol shows up then hit the FN key and num lk keys at the same time.FN is down by the left ctrl button.
